Top Ten Best Handbags Brands for Women

Hello Juicy,

How are you doing? I got my results for my application to Tokyo University and it's final...I'm gonna study and live in Japan starting from this fall *yay*
Now I just need to find a job for the rest of the time I'm here so I can save money =D

Anyways, today is another review:

What they say: Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil with apple juicy and green complex

Enriched with apple extract, this line offers softness and healthy radiance to your skin like a freshly washed apple.

Ingredients: CETYL ETHYLHEXANOATE, TRIETHYLHEXANOIN, POLYGLYCERYL-10 DIOLEATE, HYDROGENATED POLY(C6-14 OLEFIN), PEG-8 GLYCERYL ISOSTEARATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAISOSTEARATE, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRAETHYLHEXANOATE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, PYRUS MALUS (APPLE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, FRAGRANCE

Cosdna hasn't really any complaints about the ingredients (Butylene Glycol is listed as a possible acne trigger but since it's the second to last ingredient, I wouldn't worry to much about it) and neither do I.
It is nice to see that they added green tea to this product, I love green tea. It's is pretty low on the list though so it's probably not really a highly effective ingredient. The apple extract comes fairly low in the list as well, so I'm not sure if it really does anything special or if it's just there because of the name/smell.
I don't like seeing fragrance on this list though...

They also have a "4-free system" label on the bottle, meaning this product doesn't contain mineral oil, animal-originated ingredients, synthetic colorants & imidazolidinyl urea. I don't care much for mineral oil since I don't think it's the bad guy everyone makes it out to be. Colorants is something I like to avoid and it's always better to not have animal-originated ingredients if possible. Imidazolidinyl urea is something I've never heard of and a quick research told me that it could be an allergen so I guess it's better to not have it in there than to have it but I won't judge until I know more.

The product comes in a light green plastic bottle with a pump and a nice apple design, containing 150ml of product. Good for a klutz like me who always manages to drop stuff. It has a little stopper thingie for the pump which is pretty convinient for traveling. You wouldn't want the product to leak all over your stuff in your bag, right? The product is sealed with a little plastic sticker, a nice touch.

The oil itself doesn't have a color and is slightly thicker than the other two cleansing oils I have tried before so it is less likely to drip from your hands and face and all over your sink....yeah, that happened to me before.

The smell...oh boy. The smell is so awesome. Purely awesome. It smells like apple candy, some described it as jolly rancher, I have to think of Hi-Chew....so yummy. Had to hold myself back from tasting it "^^
It does however vanish rather quickly once you use the oil so you don't have to fear for your face to smell like a giant apple lollipop XD

For testing the cleaning strength of this product I decided to test it against the Hada Labo Cleansing Oil from which I still had something left.
Hada Labo is on the right, Innisfree on the left.

Tested on (from left to right): Dolly Wink Eyeliner in Black, Essence Gel Pencil Liner in Black, Clio Gelpresso Liner in Black Cherry, Catrice Liquid Liner, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Frambourjoise, Catrice Made to Stay Smoothing Lip Polish in Megan Fuchsia & Holika Holika Pro:Beauty Bloody Oil Tint in Bloody Vampire
The Catrice Eyeliner in Blue and Catrice Lip Polish are very staining products. The eyeliner stained my eyelid for about 2 days and no amound of rubbing, cleansing and eye-makeup remover could make it vanish....

As you can see both cleansing oil did a really good job. There is a stain of the blue eyeliner and a faint stain of the lip polish are still there but I expected that.

Tested on some base products (from left to right): IOPE Air Cushion XP in N21, Kiko Skin Evolution Make-up, Skin79 VIP Gold BB Cream, Catrice Camouflage Cream.

Both oils removed all the base products perfectly. Nothing unexpected =D

I decided to test the Innisfree oil again on some dried up products since in reality you wear your make-up around 7-8 hours (from left to right): Kiko foundation, Skin79 VIP Gold BB Cream, Catrice Camouflage Cream, Dolly Wink Eyeliner and Catrice Lip Polish.

I let the products dry for about 1-2 hours and used the cleansing oil again. The base make-up is removed perfectly, the eyeliner and lip polish not fully. I'm not really bothered by it because I use a seperate eye and lip make-up remover anytime I wear heavier make-up. I care about the cleansing oil removing the base make-up and that it is doing perfectly fine.
Since I use double cleansing most of the time I cannot really comment on how this cleansing oil would perform on its own.

Compared to the two other cleansing oils I tried, I must say there is not much difference. Innisfree is the clear winner in the scent section and is thicker than the other two but going strictly by the effects and cleaning power they have they are all about the same.

Price wise the Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil is the cheapest with around 5 Dollar per 100ml, followed by the Hada Labo Cleansing Oil one for around 8 Dollar per 100ml and lastly Innisfree Apple Juicy Cleansing Oil for around 11 Dollar per 100ml.

In my comparison before I said I liked the Hada Labo one better because the scent of the Softymo one wasn't really for me but I think I will try it one more time after finishing the Hada Labo one and Innisfree one, since it is the cheapest and cleaning as well as the other two. The Innisfree is a nice change for now and then when you want to treat your skin and nose to a good smelling product though =D
